Students from Oversea Chinese Mission have focused their efforts on serving elderly members of their church and community who need help to keep their homes safe and livable. The youth want to “roll up our sleeves to serve them to the best of our ability, whether that may be with cleaning, painting, house repairs or anything else that the residents may need.”

Their help has been welcomed by many, allowing the youth to build relationships across generations. These new friendships have been a blessing to everyone involved. Student leader Canney says, “Seeing fellowship outside of a church setting is always encouraging. It reaffirms how God is not only with us at church or in our quiet times, but he is always with us and always working out his plans.”
