After experiencing YouthWorks Kids Clubs, the youth of Presbyterian Church realized that the kids of Henderson, KY would love a similar program. Hannah says, “There are many children in our community who do not have a proper balance of nutrition, physical activity, creativity and spiritual leadership in their home and school lives. Our hope is to create a fun, safe environment for kids to express themselves and grow closer to God.”

One Saturday each month, the youth group hosts a morning of activities for local kids. Though it started small, attendance has grown a little each month, and the kids are always excited to come back. Hannah writes, “There’s a little girl who came the first day who was really excited to be there. She loved her new Bible and kept picking it up and hugging it.”

Teenagers in Henderson have learned the value of staying encouraged, being hopeful and believing that God can use them to serve kids in their home community.
